Optical Spot Leak Sensor with Relay Output — XW-DC-01B Reference

Overview

This point sensor detects liquid at one chosen risk location and provides a simple relay signal for a monitoring input. It is distinct from the XW-DC-01A digital dual-principle model.

Construction and interfaces

The source photo shows a circular optical sensor housing with mounting ears and an attached cable. The manufacturer specifies optical detection, an internally potted circuit and one dry-contact relay.

Selection

Choose normally open or normally closed behavior to match the monitoring system. The source lists 125 VAC/0.5 A or 30 VDC/1 A relay load limits for XW-DC-01B; the actual wiring must remain within the selected rating.

Configuration options

Confirm cable exit, installation height, alarm logic and power supply for the project. The supplied model's DC 9–30 V range does not establish compatibility with every controller.

Application limits

The optical sensor must be checked against the actual coolant, surface and possible condensation. Do not transfer the RS485 output of the visually similar XW-DC-01A to this relay model.
