Overview
TT1000 is a modular sensing cable intended to indicate water intrusion along its length. The complete original product photograph shows both connector ends; pictured length is not identifiable from appearance.
Construction and interfaces
The manufacturer describes two sensing wires, an alarm signal wire and a continuity wire in a fluoropolymer carrier. The pictured yellow cable has factory-installed plastic connector halves.
Selection
Choose the catalog length and matching TraceTek alarm/locating module for the actual monitored route. The data sheet lists 1, 3, 5, 7, 15, 30 and 50 m modular versions and a nominal 6.0 mm cable diameter.
Configuration options
Route, catalog length, connector mate, mounting method and monitoring module must be specified together. Bulk TT1000-SC reel cable has a different connector-kit procurement path and is not the pictured modular item.
Application limits
This cable detects water with an appropriate controller; it is not a standalone alarm or a universal sensor for every coolant chemistry. The source temperature limit belongs to the TT1000 series, not to unrelated leak cables.
