Reference — CGB series
| Parameter | Documented value / configuration |
|---|---|
| Retention | No integral lock; externally fastenedConditions: scope: blind-mate structure requires equipment-level retention |
| Claimed alignment compensation | plus or minus 1.5 mmConditions: scope: manufacturer series claim; validate exact size, mounted stack and stroke |
| Size specific recommended flow | CGB03 2.1; CGB05 5.9; CGB08 15.1; CGB12 33.9 L/minConditions: scope: separate model rows, water 20 degC, plug-to-socket, 5 m/s velocity criterion; CGB10 appears in ordering table but not this flow row |
| Listed material choices | Aluminum-alloy and stainless-steel part-code columnsConditions: scope: material depends on exact code; seal and all wetted material need verification |
| Size specific socket plug end examples | For CGB03, the order tables separately list G1/8 male-thread socket CGB03.1342-G18 and plug CGB03.7342-G18 in stainless-code columns; alternate ends and body materials have other codesConditions: scope: Example series pair; verify mounted geometry, material, seal and selected mating halves |
| Listed seal options | CGB series summary lists EPDM and FVMQ sealing-ring options; the selected order code and coolant compatibility must be verified.Conditions: scope: Manufacturer series options, not proof of the pictured part's installed seal |
| Series pressure temperature reference | CGB series summary lists working pressure 0–100 psi and working temperature -55 to +120 °C; the selected pair, seal and coolant require configuration review.Conditions: scope: Manufacturer series summary; not a combined end-code and coolant approval |
Manufacturer series reference. Confirm the exact order code, mating parts and stated conditions for the quoted configuration.
Overview
This CGB-style floating blind-mate connection provides a guided mating interface for equipment where the insertion movement is imposed by the rack or module. The rendering shows the distinct two-part series form.
Construction and interfaces
The manufacturer identifies no integral lock, so a surrounding structural fastener retains the connected halves. The source includes separate aluminum-alloy and stainless-steel part-code columns; material follows the chosen code.
Selection
Review the manufacturer-stated alignment allowance together with mounted datums, insertion travel and off-axis loads. CGB03, 05, 08 and 12 have distinct recommended water-flow rows, while another listed order size is not in that flow table.
Configuration options
Choose the exact model row, socket and plug, body material column, each end connection, mounting and seal configuration. The illustration represents series appearance, not a dimensioned drawing for every CGB variant.
Application limits
The maker lists EPDM/FVMQ seal options and a 0–100 psi, -55 to +120 °C series summary; the chosen order code, coolant and installed pair still require joint review. Do not equate this CGB alignment claim or flow value with MQDB, UQDB or Xinda CYFBI parts. Installed correction capability and leakage need the exact pair and test method.
