Overview
A forged threaded cap closes a compatible male-ended line or spare manifold connection. It is a separate termination component, not a flow-through fitting or a valve.
Construction and interfaces
The manufacturer photograph shows three complete stainless cap examples with internal threads. Visible markings differ by size and configuration; the picture is a series reference rather than one exact ordering code.
Selection
Match the female thread type, nominal size and engagement to the actual male port. Select material and sealing method against the coolant and service temperature instead of assuming all stainless grades are interchangeable.
Configuration options
The source lists 304 and 316L stainless choices. Pictured NPT and size markings identify particular examples; other threads or sizes need their own order-code and drawing confirmation.
Application limits
The 3000LB marking is a fitting-class designation, not a 3000 psi operating-pressure claim. Allowable working pressure depends on the applicable standard, material, size and temperature.
