Manufacturer series reference. Confirm the exact order code, mating parts and stated conditions for the quoted configuration.
Overview
This elbow changes the tube route immediately at a threaded port, unlike a straight adapter. It is useful where a cooling branch has limited straight-run space and the bend position is controlled.
Construction and interfaces
The KQG2L series shape has a push-in tube mouth and an R1/4 male threaded leg. SUS316 is listed for KQG2 metal parts; the exact visible image is a low-resolution catalogue rendering.
Selection
Confirm bend orientation, clearance for tube release, actual tube material and the mating female port. The flow path and effective area differ from a straight adapter with the same nominal tube size.
Configuration options
The catalogue lists other tube and thread combinations. Specify the approved tube OD, mating thread and required elbow orientation rather than treating size variants as the same stocked item.
Application limits
The FEP-based effective area is not a guaranteed flow capacity. Water is listed for the series, but glycol mixture, seal compatibility and installed pressure/temperature need separate checking.
