Leak, Flow, and Pressure Test Questions — illustrative concept
Illustrative concept · not a product specification or project photograph

Use measurable methods and conditions rather than an unsupported pass/fail phrase.

Make leakage measurable

Define test fluid, pressure, duration, component state, permitted leakage and measurement method. For quick disconnects, specify whether the limit applies connected, during actuation or disconnected.

Tie flow to its conditions

State flow rate and allowable pressure drop with fluid, concentration, temperature and the exact flow path. Record whether the result is for one component, a mated pair or an assembled branch.

Define the evidence package

Ask which samples are tested, instrument calibration, inspection record, traceability and drawing revision. A supplier statement without method and conditions is not an acceptance test.

RFQ checklist

  • Test fluid and temperature
  • Connected or disconnected state
  • Flow range and allowable pressure drop
  • Leak limit, instrument accuracy, cycle count, and sample size

Evidence boundary

Confirm every Product value and test condition for the exact configuration. This guide does not establish availability, qualification or system performance.
